Spring fling

It's that time of year when I feel alive again- Spring is here!

I've been inspired with lace lately.  I adore the delicate flare and the soft texture it brings, and of course, it makes me feel girly! Lakota let me experiment with her hair recently and this is what we came up with...  Here's step by step post on how to braid with lace!

                                          .:.First, tie lace where you want the braid to begin.

.:.Then section three strands and begin braiding. 

.:.Have a fluffy kitty near by.

.:.Continue braiding the hair as far as desired. Then, tie it with a small twisty and knot the lace around the twisty.

Sun day

I spent this beautiful Sunday with Derrick and Kristen venturing around the area. We first hit up an estate sale, then enjoyed a picnic at Wye mountain in the flowers, flew a kite at Pinnacle, then laid around in the grass as another splendid Arkansas day ended with a beautiful sunset.
